about the time in the construction process it came to install the very large windows in the front post and beam glass wall, in this
unique two bedroom, two bath true Appalachian style log cabin, a bear, grazing locally on blue berries, decided to visit this new
style den for possible long term sleeping use... hibernation. Upon arriving on the deck, of this unfinished construction project,
the bear, seeing no glass to hinder his entry, decided he would visit the builder and his dog.The builder, and his dog, not
remembering they had invited the bear, decided they should scurry up into the rafters of the cabin for awhile which is where they
stayed the night and that is how the "Bear Ridge"cabin got it's name. Amenities include cathedral ceilings, oak hardwood floors,
personal bedroom Jacuzzi adjacent facing the view, a rocked floor-to-ceiling, see-through, gas log fireplace, exceptional decor of
both handcrafted wood and Leather furnishings, a granite counter top in a well equipped kitchen with refrigerator, combination
oven/stove top, microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher, washer/dryer and central heat/air. Entertainment features are TV, DVD, DSS
Satellite System, and a relaxing four person hot tub on an oversized deck facing the great outdoors.... Bears not included.
